A response from a Clevelander, specials posted below.
In regard to Cleveland, if you have eaten food at my delis, seen my t-shirts, or heard my accent. . .you know. If you don’t know that Cleveland alley is across the street from Deli Board you should. It is an insane coincidence. My fond memories of home have helped me create what I feed you. This food and my passion for cooking was all cooked up in Cleveland, a suffering yet hopeful city. I learned to be resilient there, but also hardened by the mishaps and heartbreak. Yesterday, LeBron chooses to go home. I am certain I was the first person my mother texted ecstatically, she was so happy. This makes my heart melt. I am not the greatest sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, but she is. I would like to say thanks on behalf of a homey and invite you to come eat a sando sometime. It’s so close to home when you are so far away.
